TAHFIZ'S HOUSE

This project is the construction of a boarding school. The development system of Islamic boarding schools comes from voluntary contributions from the people, so the development is carried out gradually and independently.Just as a rhizome grows from a single cell into a more complex cell over time independently, so does this tahfiz house.From a rhizome there is a core cell component with a cell arm. When a rhizome cell grows, it will develop a new nuclear cell.

Like a rhizome, a core building was made with the function of being a social center between teachers and tahfiz. From the core space, the cell arms develop in the form of supporting buildings such as classrooms, dormitories, offices, and libraries. The building is made simple with traditional construction.In addition to building sustainability naturally, this will also facilitate the caretaker of the cottage or community in the process of building sustainability independently.
