The concept of the Cicendo Mosque is to respond to the low ceiling and rigid boxy shape of the building into a more flexible form and give a broad impression. This mosque is trying to get out of the traditional form of the domed Middle Eastern mosque by adapting the values of the traditional mosques of the archipelago with a calm and peaceful natural atmosphere. Adaptation of the tripartite division of the traditional roof on the ceiling and simple Islamic ornaments. Brown and wood colors dominate this building so that it can give a cool and simple impression when worshiping.
Islamic ornaments are applied to the pladon and by placing 114 points of low light as a representation of the 114 verses of the Koran. Sportlights are used so that everyone can focus on themselves when worshiping. The warm light atmosphere that is served can give the impression of warmth visually.
